What’s Happening at Soundbridge – Gangsters, Flappers and a 3 piece suit!
It’s Christmas time and that means events, events, events! Gangsters, Flapper Girls and Suits galore, were the order of the day for Soundbridge team: Cyril and Diane Thomasson, Jim and Penny Farrell, Megan Lester and her husband Callan when they attended the CQUniversity Community Christmas Ball on 2nd December.
Each year CQUniversity hosts a Community Christmas event and with this year’s theme of “Gatsby” the team took the opportunity to support our community and dress up in our finery (Callan could not pass up an opportunity to buy a new three piece suit!).
Vice Chancellor, Professor Scott Bowman stated that over the last 8 years the event has grown from 100 people to now over 500 in 2016. Thank you CQUniversity for your commitment to our local community and for holding such a great event each year.
