Celebrating 2019 at the Beach

The Soundbridge and Harbour City Accounting teams from Rockhampton, Gladstone and Mackay got together to celebrate our 2019 Staff Christmas Party at Keppel Bay Sailing Club in Yeppoon.

It was a wonderful afternoon of fun, good cheer and great food, as we reflected on the challenges and celebrated the accomplishments of 2019. In keeping with our tradition, our special brand of Secret Santa was a highlight of the event, with hilarious gifts and audacious stealing of one another’s loot!

There were some bittersweet moments as we officially farewelled Di Ferris and wished her all the best for her retirement. At Di’s request, we made a donation to Thomas’ House, an Australian-registered charity founded by Queensland retirees Roy and Gaye McPhee, who were clients of Di’s. Thomas House provides care for Cambodian children recently released from hospital, and their families, while the child either returns to health, or during the last stages of a terminally ill child’s life. They also provide care to disabled and abandoned children while working to return them to family care.

We’d also like to say a big Thank You to all our clients for your support during 2019. We look forward to partnering with you on your journey to wealth in 2020, and wish you all the best for the festive season, and a prosperous and healthy New Year.
